Diablo Divers is at GPS points: N 20 30.718 W087 14.818, just South of mile marker 269 on the Federal Highway 307. Here’s how to get there:
- Drive through the front gates (past the guard shack) at the entry to Puerto Aventuras and turn right onto the highway. You will be driving North.
- Immediately merge into the left-hand lane and prepare to make the first possible U-turn. This will be marked by a big green highway sign reading “RETORNO”.
- Head South on Highway 307 until you see signs for Puerto Aventuras. Stay to the right and do NOT drive over the overpass.
- You will come to a stop sign (“Alto” in Spanish) and a traffic circle/ round about. Drive straight through the traffic circle.
- Drive slowly. About 150 meters after the traffic circle, you will see a canvas sign for Chac Mool Cenote and a gravel driveway. Pull in here. We will come and get you since we know that you are coming.
- If you see Barcelo Resort on the left of the highway, you have gone too far. Turn around and try again.
